About the Team

JOHN F. SLOAT, OD

Optometrist


John F. Sloat, OD is a renowned optometrist specializing in complex visual needs and  ocular diseases. Earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from Albright College  and Doctorate at Salus University, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Dr. Sloat  graduated as one of the top in his class while earning acceptance into the prestigious  Gold Key Honor Society. In addition to several clinical rotations and internships, he  performed a year long residency in hospital based primary care optometry in  Philadelphia. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Optometric Association and has  been published in Review of Optometry, has spoken nationally, been involved in FDA  studies related to LASIK surgery and numerous Investigative Review Board  investigations.
